Thomas Barter
Thomas passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 24.
Thomas Barter was diagnosed with Lafora disease in June 2018.
In April 2019, Make-A-Wish sent Thomas and his family to Hawaii.
The mission of Chelsea’s Hope is to improve the lives of those affected by Lafora disease and help accelerate the development of treatments.
